Strengths: Excellent mechanics and vision. Very poised in the pocket. Possesses a strong and accurate arm.

Concerns: Decision making has been questioned and injuries are a concern (foot, ankle)

Comments: You can’t really argue the numbers of Ryan as he stands to break most passing records in the ACC. Don’t be surprised if he is the first quarterback selected. My feeling on him is cautiously optimistic. I like the tools that this kid brings to the table, but I don’t like the way he tends to force the ball occasionally. That tendency may be costly in the NFL. If he can sharpen his decision making, I see no reason why he won’t be a starter in the NFL.

  1. I think Matt Ryan was a great pick for the Falcons, he is going to be the opposite of Vick. He will be a mature leader of his team that is going to be the QB of the future for this team.
