Drew Brees, Meet Jeremy Shockey

This finally happened.  Next years 2nd and 9th round picks of the New Orleans Saints now belong to the New York Giants.  Jeremy Shockey will team up with Sean Payton, who was his O-Coordinator in his rookie season, in New Orleans.  Something jumped out at me in John Clayton’s little snippet…

He grew disgruntled with the Giants because he wanted to be more involved with some downfield passing. The Giants valued his run blocking.

That is a very interesting quote because that is exactly what should get fantasy owners excited about Jeremey Shockey again in New Orleans.  This adds a spark at a “servicable” TE position for the Saints and Shockey should get plenty of looks since there is no clear #2 WR in New Orleans.
