Derek Anderson has signed with the Arizona Cardinals a week after the Cleveland Browns let him go. In Cleveland Anderson found himself battling a former first round draft pick that the team hoped would be the face of the franchise when he was selected. Sound familiar?
Considering that Matt Leinart was the only QB on the roster, and the Cardinals were still looking, Matty knew he would have to compete for the job that Arizona hoped he would have secured years ago.
